The Upper East Regional Minister, Tangoba Paulina Abayge in her one week tour of the region to interact with civil servants and inspect government projects hit day three yesterday, 5th September.
In her tour to the Nabdam and Talensi District she said, she is impress with projects so far carried out by the government.
In Nabdam, she inspected one village one dam in Zua, the DCE residence in Nagodi and a CHIPs compound in Sakote.
In Zua, the minster was happy with the one village one dam project saying it is one of the best dams constructed. But blamed the contractor for opening the vale for the water that has been collected for animals use and irrigation purpose during dry season. She asked the assembly man of the area, Mr. Animah Daniel popularly known as “Asiama” to get the contractor to close it.
The people of Zua expressed their happiness in a way of singing and dancing, and the minister could not hide her excitement but joined them.
She then proceeded to the Talensi District; she inspected a new building for NHIS, a CHIPs compound in Awaaredone in Winkongo and ended her tour at a factory project ongoing in Pusi-Namoo.
